been a really long time since i blogged.

life's improved since the days when i just started work.
mainly since i've gotten used to the scope, colleagues haf been extending a lot of help to me, getting more used to breathing down pple's neck to get the job done haha.

a slack saturday, even skipped my weekly fitness classes to catch up on sleep, watching 'heroes', listening to some songs, browsing thru the web.
supposed to prepare for presentation but got side tracked haha. easily distracted as usual, i'm a procrastinator!

will be having a singapore film fest intensive weekend - catching a total of 4 films in total over 3 days, not nearly as intensive as gerrie or gen but q a feat haha.
will be dropping by MAAD later to take a peak at wat's new over there!

went for a massive shopping spree yest, didn't spend a lot but bot a lot! lucky i always go for cheap stuf keke.

i really nearly slapped the stupid cold storage cashier and manager just now!!!!!

wasted my time these pple! their barcodes were wrong leading the wrong price to be scanned in and they said i took the wrong size biscuits. FOR GOODNESS SAKE THERE'S ONLY 1 FREAKING SIZE LA!!!!

just cos the description says free 50% doesn't mean tt price increase. FREE LEH!!!! DON'T UNDERSTAND MEANING OF FREE IS IT!!!!

i even took a photo of the price tag n they still freaking say i m wrong. wah lao i was alr feeling a bit off liao, i can freaking just scold them on e spot la!

i'm gg to write a complain letter if i'm free when i'm on leave cos the stupid manager said sorry very buay song-ly. WTH u're freaking in the wrong la.

was just telling dan n gerrie tt there's absolutely nth to buy in SG n tt i really need to shop overseas n i saw q a few things to buy whilst out this weekend!

when u're not looking out for stuf, they always just pop up unexpectedly!
time to start redeeming those vouchers so i can buy more stuf w/o feeling guilty!
but come to think of it, the only tangible thing i splurged on since getting my pay is my customised portrait! the rest is of cos wasted on food again. haha! glutton me ;)

THE ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE EACH MONTH *scream!!!!!*

been so tired last weekend! finally i can blog cos my dad installed some anti virus thing and now we can't access any sites on our desktop! so we're using the lap top instead.

saturday was my 1st (and last) flea market experience as a stall owner!
my nose started leaking 1h after we started - all the dust!!! our clothes n bags n shoes r v dirty haha! q interesting to meet unique/weird pple, and all the bargaining! madness!

profit after splitting w my sis was pathetic, tuition is more profitable! n i had a backache e next day! so i'm more suitable to be a flea market customer rather than a seller haha!

n sunday i went for swan lake on ice! was q boring initially since i forgot e story, but it got so exciting later! these pple r amazing man! i remember how pathetic i looked whilst ice skating at fuji ice palace haha! prolly will look as lang bei when i go blading now, since i haven't bladed in ages!

okie, update's over. i want to go watch tv n read newspapers! :)
n friday's coming! i'm so freaking tired.

woo it's been a fantastic week! :)

haf been meeting up w diff pple over the week -

• wenny, my project partner during internship
• liang lao shi, my pri skool chinese tcher
• kianhwee,eric (my supervisor and mentor during internship) and joyce!

last yr at this pt in time i was still doing my internship! complaining abt not nice food (in comparison to my current food, it's much better cos it's cheaper!)

so wenny is now doing hedge funds! it's been so gd to see her after a yr cos e last time we met was during stock take haha! n cos i refused to climb up the freaking tall silo to do stock take, kh climbed up instead. SERIOUSLY it's freaking high. comparable to the towers here. *shudder* i have to climb up and INTO the towers next yr *SCREAMMMMMM* so we had egyptian food at haji lane, but seriously it reminds me of lebanese/turkish food. hmmm r they all similar?!

liang lao shi is hilarious! u won't noe she's a tcher unless u were her student! all excited when we entered adidas n she just swept items off the shelf! and getting all excited over the free flow ciabatta bread keke! v cute! and she dragged me to foot reflexology - my very 1st time doing it. was a lil pain when it started but gradually it became better. i tink my threshold for pain is not bad haha! and i decided to do a back massage to soothe my poor back. poor posture whilst looking at my com at work!

kianhwee and eric r still e same! haha! damn funny! but yay i got a treat instead of the other way round. (which is the usual case!) colleagues really make a lot of difference man! when u haf pple tt u get along w and crack lame jokes whilst u're damn stressed over y the numbers don't tally, the atmosphere at work is less tense n hence i can perform better! but i'm gradually mixing well w e pple here! so it's good! haha food really bonds pple - a very gd tip i learnt from kh, cos he always drops by my cubicle for food! ;)

lesson for newbies at work:

keep a stash of food at ur cubicle and soon pple will start flocking over and u can try to make conversation! ;)

and so qiao3 when i went to taman jurong for lunchie today, i saw bernard and kh and eric! e world is really small, the nice lab tech who drove us there for lunch was kh's supervisor when he did internship!

ooo n i want to go back to taman jurong to haf lunch soon! they haf lotsa nice food there hehe. shit, den i'm gg to spend a lot of money on food! my save money plan pao4 tang1!

and tmr gg to see the VJ gang for eurasian food! picky lot man, this bunch! ;)

and sunday i m gg to dye n cut my hair YAY!!! cos all e white hairs r popping out from the tremendous stress i faced when i first started. and the poly interns r leaving soon - nobody to help me pluck white hair :(

in memory of didi - 28 Aug 2007

didi passed away this morning, very unexpected bcos just last night he looked like he was on the road to recovery - running about and eating normally.

i hope he didn't feel too awful and didn't suffer so much. maybe his pain would haf been lessened if i didn't bring him to this vet.

i adopted didi when he was just a little baby! when i was doing design 1 and he (together with dada) brought much fun into the stressful life of rushing projects and mugging! he loved to eat sunflower seeds from Daiso so much tt when they stopped selling it, i had to switch to mixed hamster food n his appetite decreased slightly then!

i'll miss him running his little wheel, grabbing eagerly at bits of fruits/ veggies, sleeping on his wheel and his cute poses tt always look so good on camera! :)

went back to the vet today cos poor little didi bled for 1 whole day!!!!

and then the vet (another one) said his tongue was cut!!!!
my gdness! he must haf been so much pain. 1 stupid ulcer and i feel like shit alr!
hope he starts to eat more else hafta start force feeding w the horrible smelling criticare food :(
